Erai crept through the silent streets, her footsteps softer than a cat's. She had a blade in each hand, held in reverse, its point towards her back as she sneaked through the back alley. Her tanned skin was smudged with dirt to hide her presence somewhat. Her combat boots were completely silent along the dirt-path alley. Standing straight once she reached a rich-looking house, she uncoiled a metal rope from her shoulder, and circled it around her head, the master assassin. She caught it around an outcropping of the building, and jerked on it to test. It would hold her weight. She started to climb, moving hand-over-hand up the iron coils, when she heard something. Holding on with one hand, she turned her body, and her eyes widened in recognition of the one on the ground below her.

Zade walked past the aly entrance, not looking over, he didn't hear her. He was kicking a rock infront of him, his hands in his pockets. He was going to steal a new sword, sense his had been bashed and broken.

Erai held onto her metal rope with one hand, and leaned down with the rest of her, both feet braced on the side of the wall. She closed one eye, and aimed down at him, then realized that it was her own brother. She cursed in her head, then moved her hand back to the rope, and climbed again. Soon, she was on the balcony, and she climbed over. Drawing up her iron cord, she looped it around her waist again, and stalked into the room alongside. She held her sword poised over the sleeping one's head, and slashed his throat, then darted outside again, and sprang over the balcony rail, falling towards the earth like a rock, landing silently, then heading to the house next to this one. It was a double mission. She slung her rope up, jerked on it, and started climbing. Twenty feet up the wall, she heard someone moving below, and looked down over her shoulder.

Zade continued walking, not noticing anything around him. He stopped an expensive looking shop. He smirked then looked around, not a soul in sight.

Erai let a quiet sigh go, not allowing it to be heard. She continued climbing, her eyes focused exclusively on her destination: the roof. She finally reached the tiled surface, and climbed up, then coiled her rope around her waist again. She tied it securely around her, then searched for a way inside. She found one, and slipped inside the building, then began her search for her next victim.

Zade took out his sharpest dagger that he never used and cut a circle in the glass, then wet his hand with spit and placed it on the glass, making it fall backwards onto his hand. He reached inside and stole the sword then placed the glass in its place once more. He stook off at a slow walk once more, not afraid if anyone caught him, they wouldn't win.

Erai continued searching for the second one to be killed tonight. She finally found him, in the master bedroom, and slashed his throat, then made her swift, soundless way back to her exit. She scrambled up, slid the hidden trapdoor shut, and sprang off the roof, landing completely silently. She glanced behind her, cleaned her blades, then just held them, one in each hand, and started to run. It never was particularly wise to hang around, and no master assassin did so. She was a master.

Zade shealthed the sword and walked down the street, hands in his pockets. His raven black hair swayed from side to side as he did so. Suddenly he lifted his head, he had heard a very faint, very soft, almost unhearable thump, like someone landing on the ground.

Erai heard a soft scraping, so soft it would have been inaudible to any other except her older brother. She turned her head, then took off running, her footsteps slightly audible, but no more so than a piece of grass scratching against a rock. She had no idea that Zade was standing before her, and she almost ran into him, then swerved, whirled around, and readied her blades for combat. Suddenly, her eyes widened. She knew him...but how? From where?

Zade stared at the girl, his eyes narrow. "What do you want? Go away." He started walking again, pushing past her, not looking at her, just dead ahead. He knew her from somewhere, but he also knew many others, he didn't care.

She whirled around, and shot in front of him. "Go to Hell." She replied darkly, her black hair swinging forward over her shoulders, and she shook it back. She recognized his voice, somehow...but she knew many voices. Very many. Her tall frame stood in his way, proud, and she raised her arms, one blade crossing in front of her, the other behind. She was ready to fight, if she must.

Zade narrowed his eyes again. "I will, but right now I feel like living, so leave me alone, bitch." He pushed her away roughly, and continuted walking. He didn't care, but he had noticed she looked slightly similar to him, he never took note of it though.

"You callin' me a bitch?" She snarled, grabbing his shoulder, and jerking on it hard, forcing him to turn. Erai glared at him, her identical grey eyes with exactly the same expression as his had. Her mouth was set in a hard, deadly line, and the blade in her hand glinted ominously. It still had blood on it, she would clean it more thoroughly later, and it was slowly dripping. "Want me to kill you?" She snapped. Without even realizing it, her voice was almost the same as his, if only slightly higher and more deadly.

Zade grabbed her wrist and clutched his tightly in his hand, the same he had done with Seth, he bent it at an odd angle. "I have no intension of dieing, do you?" He glared at her, his black hair falling in his face.

Erai had been trained never to show pain or fear. "No, killing is my job, not dying." She snapped, then lay her blade over his wrist, a deadly look in her eye. "Now let go of my wrist." She glared at him venomously, hate obvious in her eyes. She did not tell him that they both talked and looked pretty much the same, and they both had the same ornery attitude. She wondered where she had seen him before? He was so familiar...yet a total stranger.

Zade glared a death glare at her, "Cut me, I don't care." He truly didn't care, he was just there because he had to be.

Erai decided to spare his flesh for the moment, and started cutting away the glove. The cloth hung in a strip of material on one part, and she stared at the blackened flesh beneath. She raised her eyebrows, then looked up at him, her anger and hate fading into curiosity. "...Zade?"

Zade's eyes narrowed again. "Maybe, how do you know my name?" His voice was ice cold, when suddenly he knew who she was. "Erai?" He let go of her wrist and stared at her, his eyes angry, but not like they were.

"Took you long enough!" She snapped, rubbing her badly bruised wrist lightly, and glaring at him, her icy eyes still cold. She still held her blades, one in each hand, as always, and now it became apparent that she had two daggers in her belt, and three shuriken throwing stars as well. It wasn't as obvious that she had a dagger in either glove, and one in her shirt, well armed, even for an assassin. "So what were YOU doing here?"

Zade's eyes turned back to their ice cold, deadly glare. "None of your business." He turned around and started walking again. "It took you just as long."

"So what?" She snapped, then spun around, shot along the street, and discovered a stray loaf of ripe bread sitting on an otherwise empty stall. She snatched it up, wolfed it down, and vanished into the alleys, before reappearing a short distance ahead of Zade again, her quick, running footsteps inaudible despite the spikes on the undersides of her boots. It was a wonder she didn't make any noise when she moved with all her gear.

Zade continued walking, his eyes closed. He still walked tall and proud. He didn't look at her when he passed, his sword making only a slight clinking until he opened his eye and looked behind him, there were footsteps, a pair of two people, comming closer.

Erai heard the soft scraping of boots and dirt, and shot sideways into the trees, then sprang up into the branches and watched, wielding her blades before her. "Shit." She muttered quietly to herself. Zade passed below her, likely unaware that she was directly above him, and she shifted a little, then watched the approaching two.
Galia looked over at Dray. Is that Zade?

Dray looked up and squinted at the far away figure. "Yeah..." He turned to her before turning back. "ZADE!"
Zade's face turned to an annoyed one when his name was called, but he didn't look back, he kept on going.

Galia suddenly jerked back, and grabbed Dray's arm, stopping him. Look...up... She whispered, her voice hoarse with shock. She hoped that the one in the tree straight above their heads would not strike.
Erai did not move at all, hoping that they had not seen her. She didn't know about mindspeak, so she did not realize that the red-haired girl below had seen her a moment ago. The assassin held her breath, and hoped for the best. Her steel spikes dug into the branch beneath her feet, and she held her blades before her, not moving, so that they didn't shine in the moonlight.

Dray looked up, then his face held confusion. "You! In the tree! What are you doing up there?" He blinked a few times, and didn't notice that Zade had come back until he felt a blade at his throut.
Zade held the blade at Drays throut. "Shut the fuck up. Do you want everyone to wake up?" he was angry and he pushed Dray against the tree, drawing a little blood as he did so.

"Why don't you BOTH shut up?" Erai hissed, flinging herself out of the tree, and landing on all fours, one knee touching the ground, and she glared at them. She didn't notice Galia staring at her oddly.
Galia walked up to Zade, and gently pulled his blade down from Dray's throat. Then she looked at Erai crouching motionless on the ground. "Why the hell do you two look so alike?" She inquired softly, her voice flat. It was true, they both had the same black hair and grey eyes, only Erai had dyed the ends of her hair blood red.

Zade shook his head and lowered the blade, then twirled it in his fingers before holding it reverse. "Why do you care?" He slide the blade into his jeans with his hand, the glove torn and cut and strips hung down from it, he might as well just take it off, but he didn't.

"Because you have almost exactly the same hair, same eyes, and you're both built the same way. Are you related or what?" Galia pressed darkly, her violet eyes determined to know.
Erai finally stood slowly, and raised her twin blades, crossing them in an X shape in front of her, her grey eyes darkening. "So? That doesn't mean anything, more than one person has grey eyes and black hair!"

Dray smirked. There was something different. "You act the same too. Plus, if you look at your faces enough, you even have the same jaw line."
Zade opened his eyes again then turned. "Whatever." He started walking but was caught.
