For all the Guests around here who would like to join, first, here's some help on youre roleplaying skill improvement!
1. Don't make multiple posts to yourself. It's really annoying and not much fun, besides.
2. Powerplaying: This is one of the most important aspects of roleplay. Don't take control of other people's characters!
[glow=red,2,300]POWERPLAYING POST:
George came up to Bob and threw him onto the ground. He started punching him repeatedly in the face, knocking him out, then cutting off his head and killing him.[/glow]
As you can see, Bob's player has no time to react with his character. Here is a proper post without powerplaying:
George appeared at the edge of a dark alley, watching Bob. Waiting for the perfect moment of attack, he rushed out, and tried to throw Bob to the ground.
3. "Free" Characters (Staff Only) The staff will play as the 'free characters'.
Some examples of past 'Free Characters' Are: The King and The Dark Lady.
Staff members that can and will take control are: ¤~Cat~¤, BäŽë™ and PeacefulWarrior.
4. Detailed Posts: try and fit detail into your posts. Sometimes, people are just plain out of "muse", or inspiration, and they simply cannot make long posts. Baze and Cat undergo that regularly because they use it all, and then make themselves post more...crazy staff! Anyway, here's an example of a randomly detailed post:
Delilah stood on the edge of the forest, looking out through the trees with her large, doe-like brown eyes. Her long brown hair fell motionlessly over her shoulders, and a small smile had cracked her face. Happiness radiated from every pore of her body, and she looked up at the beautiful azure sky. The warm summer's day washed over her like warm water, and she looked around her calmly. Such a perfect day to finish off a perfect week. Taking long strides, she moved forward and vanished into the forest.
This will be updated later!
